The Village of Putley in Herefordshire

Putley Women's Institute

Putley W.I. have been meeting in the village for 99 years! Our main meeting now is at Putley Parish Hall on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm. Our evenings offer a varied programme of talks, visits, and discussions, where we spend an entertaining couple of hours learning new things, making new friends and generally having a great time! We are a growing group of girls with a diverse range of interests and skills. If you would like to join us, a warm welcome awaits you.

As well as our monthly meeting, we have separate interest groups for members, including; The Garden Group, covering all things horticultural and our weekly Monday morning ‘Coffee and Chat’ group where almost any topic can, and will, be raised at The Nest!

Each year we support and host local events to raise funds for our community. This year our featured event will be a spectacular VE Day Celebration Tea Party on Bank Holiday Friday at The Parish Hall. More details to follow in The Cider Press, on this website and on flyers!

The cost for 12 months membership is £43.00. You can even sample one of our meetings for free, to see if you like us.

Membership of our lively group continues to grow. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Julie Crompton - Putley WI President, on 01531 670340.

Please see the Parish calendar for all the dates.
